During an apprenticeship you will be expected to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Apprenticeships are funded by the government and there is currently no upper age limit in place for apprenticeships.

An apprenticeship is constructed with a combination of knowledge delivery, assessments, onsite experience, evidence portfolio’s and end point assessments which enable you to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard.

What is an apprenticeship?

Is an apprenticeship Right for Me?

Apprenticeships are an exciting option; you get hands-on training and the chance to practice your skills.

You can start an apprenticeship whether you’re just starting out in your career, want a change, or want to upskill in your current job. You can have a previous qualification, like a degree, and still begin an apprenticeship.

Tungsten Training Centre offers bespoke workshops and classrooms. Each training space has been kitted out with the tools and equipment you would find on construction sites, allowing you the best start to your training and a new career.

Apprenticeships are funded from contributions made by the government and your employer. This means you will not have any student loans or tuition fees. (But you will need to cover the cost of your day-to-day expenses, such as lunch and travel).
